A short clip of my band performing sometime around midnight on Halloween. That’s me sporting the badass zebra pants.

How can I best utilize my decade’s worth of graphic design and prepress experience? By helping my friends make authentic-looking Halloween props, obviously.
My buddy Chip didn’t say what his costume is, but he needs DHARMA beer for a prop, so I can only assume that it will be awesome. I designed these labels for him. Unfortunately, he didn’t have label paper and ended up sticking them to the cans with double-sided tape, but they still look pretty good.

GPOYW: Last Halloween’s epic family costume theme
This year there will be no theme, because I’m going to be dressed as ’80s hair metal guy and all the “baby rocker” costumes look like the outfits we dress him in on a daily basis. So he’s going to be a skeleton because that’s cheap and easy. At least he’s big enough to actually trick-or-treat this year.

On the subject of Halloween costumes: This is who I’m going to be this year - meet Johnny Rod, one of the numerous bass players for hair-metal shock-rockers W.A.S.P.
The band I play in will be performing W.A.S.P. covers at a big Halloween bash, and all of us are dressing up as the band. Of course, I’m going as the chunky version of Mr. Rod.
