Thanks for all the well wishes everybody. It’s 4:45, so Caroline is now 72 hours old, and I’m still very thankful that everything went smoothly despite her being early. She weighed in at 5 pounds, 8 ounces at birth, and she was the same height as William’s birth height - 19.5 inches.
Amy had some complications from the anesthetic and is experiencing some pretty painful back and neck pain, but hopefully it will subside over the course of the next week. She’s got some decent pain meds, too. Caroline had her first post-hospital check up this morning. Her doctor ordered a blood test to check for jaundice since she has a slight yellow tint to her skin. We’ll find out the results soon.
